I am Jinnan Chen. I study interaction design at the University of Michigan.

I am incredibly passionate about design, movies, and video games. I think all three of these interests have helped instill a different way of thinking in me. 

Design appealed to me as a way to observe the world as it is and envision what it could be. Through design, I hoped to craft solutions that might convince others to work towards that better future. In my view, design serves as a compass - orienting people amidst the sea of complex information we face daily. By distilling and clarifying, design enables us to navigate life's challenges and possibilities. I aim to employ design thinking to gently guide people towards more fulfilling, meaningful, and easier lives. At its best, design allows us all to see - and shape - a world brimming with potential.
