typeface exploration
Objective: An open-ended research project to show understanding of the assigned typeface.
Goals: Increase understanding of the typeface, being able to use a creative way to present an abstract/conceptual ideas.
Outcomes: In the beginning we were tried various different ideations, from a campaign to write a book, but then we realized what we went through is seven stages of grief. Verdana is dead and will never comeback. We finally decided to make a headstone for it, along with other things that died with it. We also wrote an eulogy for it.
